ITC Learning’s iMPETUS PC Skills Library teaches basic to advanced skills for specific MicroSoft workplace applications. The training does not require the actual application be installed on the machine; iMPETUS replicates the application inside its interface. The "real-job" context for the instruction engages the interest of the adult learners, and provides a foundation of business problem solving and communication techniques.
At ITC Learning we believe that “learning by doing” is one of the most effective forms of education. iMPETUS courses contain an average of seven hours of instruction with at least 80% of the course requiring user interaction to ensure that the learner is constantly involved and motivated to learn.
Each course contains both Pre and Post testing for assessment of the learner’s understanding of the application and is capabilities. The Pre-test is a “Skills Gap Analysis Tool” that is designed to target the requirements of users with existing skills, and tailor the lesson to meet the gaps in their knowledge of the subject.
The iMPETUS courses can be delivered on a single workstation, over a network or through your intranet to every desktop in your organization, or to home PC’s. Any updates that occur during the license are available to be downloaded at no charge for the duration of your license.
