This comprehensive interactive multimedia-training program consists of one lesson that provides general musculoskeletal system and ergonomic definitions and an explanation of the concept of workplace ergonomics. It covers cumulative trauma and other disorders associated with the workplace. This program also describes proper work station design, proper computer monitor set-up, how to minimize reaching, bending and twisting, and lighting considerations for the office. Other topics include prevention through simple exercises, how to report factors in the workplace and how to maintain ergonomically correct practices off the job.
