Course 1 – Control Equipment – Part 1

Prerequisites: There is no specific prerequisite knowledge or experience necessary to begin study.

Description: This comprehensive DVD training program covers introduction to control equipment troubleshooting, troubleshooting control circuits, checking for continuity and removing and installing parts.



Course 2 – Control Equipment – Part 2

Prerequisites: There is no specific prerequisite knowledge or experience necessary to begin study.

Description: This comprehensive DVD training program covers limit switches, replacing the contact block and testing the switch, an introduction to torque switches and setting the close rotor.



Course 3 – Control Equipment – Part 3

Prerequisites: There is no specific prerequisite knowledge or experience necessary to begin study.

Description: This comprehensive DVD training program covers overload relays, overload relay removal, installing and checking a new overload relay and coils.



Course 4 – Control Equipment – Part 4

Prerequisites: There is no specific prerequisite knowledge or experience necessary to begin study.

Description: This comprehensive DVD training program covers fuses, circuit breakers, ground fault circuit breakers and the testing of large molded circuit breakers.



Course 5 – Control Equipment – Part 5

Prerequisites: There is no specific prerequisite knowledge or experience necessary to begin study.

Description: This comprehensive DVD training program covers motor starters, troubleshooting coil-operated contractors, magnetic starters and control transformers.



Course 6 – Control Equipment – Part 6

Prerequisites: There is no specific prerequisite knowledge or experience necessary to begin study.

Description: This comprehensive DVD training program covers operational testing of circuits, ruling out portions of the circuit and components, testing a valve mechanically and electrically and locating the problem.

Prerequisites: There is no specific prerequisite knowledge or experience necessary to begin study.

Description: This comprehensive DVD training program covers the basic parts and operation of motors, bearings and lubrication, motor disassembly and removing the rotor.



Course 8 – Motors – Part 8

Prerequisites: There is no specific prerequisite knowledge or experience necessary to begin study.

Description: This comprehensive DVD training program covers removing bearings and inspecting bearing surfaces, inspecting the rotor and stator and motor reassembly.



Course 9 – Motors – Part 9

Description: This comprehensive DVD training program covers brush assemblies, slip ring maintenance, split phase motors and centrifugal switches.
